1. Were you named after anyone? Yup. Her name was Lynnette Cherry. She was a friend of my mom's from college who died. Weirdly enough, my name was supposed to be spelled the same way, but my parents had been going back and forth on one n or two, and my dad forgot when he was getting my birth certificate done!
2. When was the last time you cried? Recently, this last weekend. I am soooooooooo frustrated with my sensative skin!!!!!!! CHAPSTICK SHOULD NOT GIVE PEOPLE RASHES THAT LAST FOR MORE THAN A WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It itches like mad and hurts like crazy (but not as bad as this last weekend!).
3. Do you like your handwriting? Yeah, it's fun. I often get compliments on it.
4. What is your favorite lunch meat? Roast beef.
5. Do you have kids? Nada. Thank God! I don't want any right now, if ever.
6. If you were another person, would you be friends with you? I certainly hope I would be. It depends on the person.

19. What was the last thing you ate? Whoopie-pie from Alicia's Bakery from yesterday at the Farmer's Market. Mmmmm . . . I love visiting her booth every Wednesday. And yesterday she had her Raspberry Mint Punch again; divine!
20. What are you listening to right now? My blinds hitting the window because of the wind.

22. What are your favorite smells? Lilacs and Roses
23. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone? Kristen (now Schnorbus!)

25. Favorite sports to watch? Gymnastics, swimming sports, Figure Skating, and Speed Skating (like the Olympics much?)
26. Hair color? Fl.aming Red. I heard a new description of it a couple of weeks ago that was new to me, "Your hair is like a SPOTLIGHT!"

28. Do you wear contacts? Yes, but at the moment I'm wearing my glasses.

30. Scary movies or happy endings? Depends on my mood. I like the ones where they learn something that they can grow from.

32. What color shirt are your wearing? Cream. I love this blouse! It looks like something a 1930's movie star would wear with cape sleeves and everything!

Now for my post. Yes I'm Beatrice--HUZZAH!!!!!!! I'm being extremely lazy this summer.
Yes I have a rash all around my mouth from Chapstick. It's from camping last week with Leoney, Caitlin, Marcus, James, Maria, and a guy who I'd never met but is friends with Caitlin, Josh (prefers to be called Ooah). We camped in Markleeville. Caitlin, Marcus and I took a long hike on Friday. We went on a trail that was supposed to lead us to a lake. We climbed a whole mountain and guess what? THE LAKE WAS NOT THERE AND THE TRAIL DISAPPEARED!!! We weren't too thrilled. I left on Friday so I could be at my tap rehearsal for the recital on Saturday. Good thing too. The rest had to evacuate on Saturday morning because of the fires.
Yup, it's summer, and the fires are back. The worst has been in Tahoe, and supposedly it's the 4th worst fire the U.S. has ever seen (and it's not over yet!). I know families who have lost their homes. My friend Stephanie's family literally were able to save the clothes on their backs and their pets! Not a good situation at all!
Anyway, not much else to report now. Sorry my life is that slow! I'm okay with it right now though.

First, I apologize with great remorse for our "conversation" last Tuesday. I could hear you perfectly fine, but obviously you couldn't hear me! :( I hope your Chapstick rash goes away soon and that you are enjoying your summer. I will try to call you one of these evenings when I'm not in a lake cabin sifting through old life vests and ski ropes looking for a purloined beach towel.
